Credit Monitoring

As a Credit Monitoring professional at a Major Private Sector Bank in the Wholesale Banking Division, your role will involve various key responsibilities: - Monitoring post sanction covenants which includes tracking pending monitoring statements like stock statements, sales, insurance policies, and highlighting long pending items to the Business and Credit teams. - Monitoring escrow and cash flow performance. - Keeping track of overdues and excesses in accounts including LCs devolved and BGs invoked. - Monitoring SMA-2 accounts and potential NPAs. - Monitoring the end use of funds, circulating high value transactions, and highlighting suspicious and adverse transactions to Business and Credit Heads. - Monitoring cheque returns in customer accounts and providing MIS on cheque returns. - Preparing Account Conduct Reports (FORS) as per required frequencies and requests from the Credit teams. - Scoring borrowers in the Credit Portfolio based on account conduct. - Monitoring Early Warning Signals in the credit portfolio, preparing EWS notes for the EWS Committee, and following up for implementation of action points as advised. - Finalizing the stock audit plan in coordination with Regional Credit Heads, conducting stock audits through CA Firms, reviewing reports, and highlighting adverse observations. - Monitoring unhedged Foreign currency exposure of borrowers and calculating the applicable provisions at quarter ends. - Preparing the Exposure Report on a quarterly basis for Corporate Bank segments. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum Post Graduation qualification, preferably a Chartered Accountant. - At least 2 years of experience and proficiency in computer skills. - Knowledge of Credit Appraisal, Credit Monitoring, and regulatory requirements related to Credit. - Thorough understanding of advanced features of Microsoft Office, especially data management capabilities of Microsoft Excel.
