Credit Analytics - (Associate/Senior Associate/AVP) - CRE

Role Overview: At OakNorth, you will be part of a mission to empower the UK's most ambitious businesses by providing financial support. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various property types such as Residential, Office, Retail, Industrial, Lodging, and Healthcare in the UK and/or US. - Draft credit reports in a concise and easy-to-read format for credit and risk review, highlighting key takeaways on the opportunity. - Develop detailed financial models including transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, ratio analysis, credit metrics, and more. - Perform sensitivity analysis on projections for stress testing on loans to assess serviceability. - Identify deal-specific covenants that can serve as early warning signals during loan monitoring. - Conduct detailed industry and market studies to understand the operating environment of borrowers. - Interact with clients to discuss data gaps, inconsistencies, and analytical frameworks. Qualifications Required: - 2-10 years of relevant experience. - Strong financial analysis skills with a thorough understanding of accounting and financial concepts. - Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing Rent Roll, operating statements, lease schedules, and third-party reports like Property appraisals and valuation reports. - Ability to draft credit reports and communicate effectively with Debt Directors, clients, and other stakeholders. - Personal attributes include proactive, flexible, creative, result-driven, responsible, curious, team player, and fast learner. - Hands-on attitude with the willingness and capability to understand the big picture. - Ability to thrive in a culture of change and speed. - MBA/PGDM/CA/CFA from a reputed institute.
