Creative Strategist (Paid Ads)

As a creative storyteller, you will play a crucial role in writing engaging User-Generated Content (UGC), testimonial-style, and product advertisement scripts for D2C performance ads at DIRTS, a fast-growing wellness-focused D2C brand based in India. Our mission at DIRTS is to provide thoughtfully designed lifestyle solutions that solve real, everyday problems related to body and foot discomfort, thus helping people live healthier, more comfortable lives. Your responsibilities will include developing creative, concise scripts tailored to content creators, researching audience pain points and product benefits to fuel script ideation, and conducting in-depth product research and competitor analysis. Crafting well-structured short-form scripts following frameworks like PAS (Problem-Agitate-Solution) and AIDA, you will create high-converting performance creatives designed to drive direct response across Meta and other paid platforms. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience writing performance ads or UGC scripts for D2C brands, a deep understanding of emotional copywriting and product positioning, and experience using research and data to develop creative insights. Additionally, you should be familiar with A/B testing, performance metrics, and iterative script refinement, and be able to work in a fast-paced, feedback-driven creative environment. Collaborating closely with video editors, creative strategists, and performance marketers, you will ensure seamless execution of scripts and stay updated on platform trends, ad policies, and evolving storytelling styles in digital direct response. Key performance indicators for this role include Scroll-Stop Rate & Hook Effectiveness, Engagement Metrics (CTR, watch time, shares, comments), Conversion Rates, Audience Retention Metrics, Testing Success, Adaptability, Feedback Integration, and Originality.
