We’ve worked with leading brands like Mamaearth, Seekho, Himalaya, boAt, and fast-growing apps & D2C brands handling everything from creative strategy to scripting, creator direction, and end-to-end execution.
This role is ideal for someone who understands what makes UGC ads work, especially for South Indian audiences, and can lead both ideas and execution.
1. UGC Scriptwriting & Copy
• Write high-converting UGC ad scripts (problem–solution, negative-to-positive, vox-pop, testimonials, skits, info-led ads, etc.)
• Ensure scripts are platform-native (Instagram Reels, Shorts, Ads)
• Adapt tone & messaging for Hindi, English, and South Indian audiences
• Keep scripts culturally relevant, trend-aware, and performance-focused
2. Creative Direction
• Give clear creative direction to creators and internal teams:
• How to start the video (hook)
• Expression, tone, body language
• Delivery style (natural, non-scripted feel)
• Suggest ways to make videos more engaging & scroll-stopping
3. Client Briefing & Creative Thinking
• Understand client requirements, goals, and brand tonality
• Add your own creative inputs instead of blindly following briefs
• Convert client objectives into clear creative angles & scripts
4. Regional & Cultural Understanding
• Strong understanding of South Indian culture, language nuances & trends
• Ability to spot what will work in Tamil / Telugu / Malayalam / Kannada contexts
• Avoid generic or North-India-centric scripting for South audiences
5. End-to-End UGC Execution
• Own the creative delivery of UGC campaigns:
• Script → creator brief → shoot guidance → final output check
• Coordinate with creators, editors, and ops team
• Ensure timelines, quality, and creative consistency are maintained
• 2–5 years experience in UGC, ads, digital content, or creative roles
• Strong UGC ad scripting & copywriting skills
• Deep understanding of UGC ads that convert
• Good command over Hindi & English
• Working understanding of at least one South Indian language
• Knows Instagram, Reels, Shorts, trends & ad formats
• Ability to manage multiple scripts & campaigns at once
• Experience working with apps, D2C, or performance marketing teams
• Has guided creators or content teams before
• Familiar with Meta ads creatives & what brands look for
• Can review videos from a performance & creative POV
This role is not just about writing scripts it’s about owning the creative outcome of UGC campaigns and ensuring every video feels authentic, engaging, and regionally relevant.
