Couture Assistant Designer

As a Couture Assistant Designer at our Faridabad location, you will be responsible for working closely with the design head to develop new collections, create sketches, select fabrics, assist in fittings, and manage production timelines. Your role will involve interacting with customers at the factory studio, coordinating with artisans and tailors, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that designs are executed to the highest standards. To excel in this role, you should have design skills such as sketching, fabric selection, and creating mood boards. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of traditional Indian embroidery, textiles, and hand block printing. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing production timelines effectively. Experience in fittings, quality control, and coordination with artisans and tailors will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with clients regularly. A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is required for this position. Prior experience in luxury or couture fashion design would be a plus.
