Additionally, you should possess knowledge of traditional Indian embroidery, textiles, and hand block printing. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing production timelines effectively. Experience in fittings, quality control, and coordination with artisans and tailors will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with clients regularly. A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is required for this position. Prior experience in luxury or couture fashion design would be a plus.
