Country Finance Manager

Core Roles & Responsibilities

• Financial Consolidation
  

Oversee the consolidation of financial statements from various entities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, IND-AS).

• Reporting & Analysis
  

Prepare consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze financial results and variances across entities.Support executive decision-making with insights from consolidated data.

• Systems & Tools Management
  

Administer consolidation software (SAP /Oracle and global tools).
Ensure data integrity and automation of consolidation processes.Collaborate with IT and finance teams to improve system efficiency.

• Compliance & Audit
  

Ensure timely and accurate completion of multiple audits in India
Liaise with external auditors during group audits.Maintain documentation and controls for audit readiness.

• Process Improvement
  

Streamline consolidation workflows and reporting timelines.
Implement best practices across entities.Train local finance teams on consolidation procedures.

• Stakeholder Collaboration
  

Work closely with regional controllers, FP&A, and corporate finance teamCoordinate with tax, treasury, shared service and legal teams for group-level reporting.Plant accounting: Understand variance and reporting thereof and co-ordination with plantsDirect and Indirect tax: Good understanding of direct and indirect taxes

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation practices.
• Experience with SAP ERP and consolidation tools.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
  

Profile/Competencies

Education, background, level of experience

• CA/CIMA/ with 10 + years of post-qualification experience with a proven track record
  

Preferred

• Hand on knowledge on Microsoft products
• Work experience in a manufacturing company would be an advantage
• Experience in working with Shared service teams/ collaboration with FP&A of a large multinational company will be an added advantage
