Country Finance Controller

In this role, you will be responsible for financial consolidation which involves overseeing the consolidation of financial statements from various entities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and IND-AS. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Analyzing financial results and variances across entities to provide insights for executive decision-making. - Administering consolidation software such as SAP/Oracle and global tools to ensure data integrity and automation of consolidation processes. - Collaborating with IT and finance teams to enhance system efficiency. - Ensuring timely and accurate completion of multiple audits in India and liaising with external auditors during group audits. - Maintaining documentation and controls for audit readiness. - Streamlining consolidation workflows and reporting timelines, implementing best practices, and providing training to local finance teams. - Working closely with regional controllers, FP&A, and corporate finance team, and coordinating with tax, treasury, shared service, and legal teams for group-level reporting. Additionally, your qualifications should include: - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation practices. - Experience with SAP ERP and consolidation tools. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and project management skills. Moreover, the ideal candidate for this role would possess: - CA/CIMA qualification with 10+ years of post-qualification experience and a proven track record. - Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft products. - Work experience in a manufacturing company would be advantageous. - Experience in working with Shared service teams or collaborating with FP&A of a large multinational company will be an added advantage.,
