Counter Saleswoman

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify their needs
• Present and explain merchandise to customers
• Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Answer customers’ questions and address their concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales counter
• Restock merchandise as needed
• Process returns and exchanges
• Offer additional products and promotions to customers
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
• Assist in inventory management

Counter Sales representatives should have a diverse set of skills and qualifications to succeed in their role, such as:

• Excellent customer service skills to assist customers in making purchases and handle any customer inquiries or complaints
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide clear and concise information about products or services
• Interpersonal skills to connect with customers on a personal level, building long-term relationships and client loyalty
• Product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers about the products available for sale
• Numeracy skills to handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers
• Organizational skills to keep track of inventory and ensure that the sales counter is always well-stocked
• Sales skills to effectively persuade and convince customers to make a purchase
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure, especially during peak business hours
• Physical stamina as counter sales jobs may require standing for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,086.00 - ₹15,097.93 per month
