Counter Salesperson

Job Title: Counter Salesperson – Mobile Shop Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-friendly Counter Salesperson to join our mobile shop team. The candidate will be responsible for handling walk-in customers, promoting mobile phones and accessories, maintaining stock records, and ensuring excellent service to drive sales. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Understand customer needs and recommend suitable mobile phones, accessories, or services. Explain product features, comparisons, pricing, warranty, and offers clearly. Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the sales counter and display units. Handle billing and payment processing accurately. Update and track daily sales and stock in registers or software. Maintain awareness of new arrivals, brands, and market trends. Resolve customer complaints or escalate to the supervisor as needed. Requirements: Minimum 10th/12th pass; a diploma or degree is a plus. 1+ year experience in mobile or electronics retail preferred. Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English/Hindi. Basic knowledge of smartphones and related technologies. Customer-first attitude and positive personality. Ability to use billing software or POS system (training can be provided). Willingness to work on weekends and holidays, if needed.
