Counselor – International Student Support

Parul University, one of India’s leading multidisciplinary universities with a vibrant international student community from over 70 countries, is inviting applications for the position of Counselor for Foreign Students.

Position: Counselor – International Student Support

Location: Parul University Campus, Vadodara, Gujarat

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact and provide personal, social, and academic counseling support to international students.

* Help students adapt to the cultural, academic, and social environment of the university and India.

* Address personal concerns, stress, homesickness, and academic pressures through one-on-one sessions.

* Organize regular interaction sessions, workshops, and wellness programs tailored for international students.

* Work closely with the International Cell, hostel coordinators, and faculty to ensure student well-being.

* Maintain confidentiality and build trust with the international student community.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work (or related fields).

* Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.

* Empathetic, culturally sensitive, and student-friendly personality.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in counseling, more than 10 years is preferred
