Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Counsellor to provide emotional, psychological, and mental health support to individuals facing personal, social, or psychological challenges. The ideal candidate will utilize evidence-based approaches to help clients develop coping strategies, improve mental well-being, and work toward personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Conduct individual or group counselling sessions to support clients dealing with emotional, mental, or behavioral issues. Assess clients needs through interviews, observations, and psychological tests (if applicable). Develop tailored treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Refer clients to external specialists or support services when appropriate. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, or social workers for holistic care. Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources. Stay current with developments in psychology, counselling techniques, and relevant laws.
