Costing & Tendering Executive

About the Role

We are hiring an Estimation & Tendering Engineer with experience in electrical panels, substations, and related solutions. The role involves preparing precise cost estimations, handling tenders, participating in pre-sales discussions, and supporting the sales team in securing orders from government, PSU, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare costing & estimation for:
• 11kV & 33kV Indoor VCB Panels, Compact Substations, CR Panels
• Non-TTA/TTA IEC 61439–61641 Panels (LT PCC, MCC, APFC, DG Sync, Distribution Boards up to 6300A, Cable Trays & Bus Ducts)
• IT Server Racks & EV Chargers
• Review tender specifications, technical drawings, and SLDs.
• Handle strategic clients: CPWD, PWD, Housing Boards, Smart City, BHEL, ISRO, Metro Rail, Oil & Gas, Refineries, Electrical Consultants, PMC, MNCs, etc.
• Coordinate with suppliers for product selection and price list evaluation.
• Prepare competitive techno-commercial offers and RFP/RFI responses.
• Follow up with clients for order closure and maintain reports in Excel & ERP.
• Daily reporting of bids submitted, bids in hand, and follow-up status.
• Support senior management during client meetings and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience in estimation & tendering for electrical panels.
• Strong knowledge of switchgear, relays, panel design, GA drawings, and control circuits.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, formulas) and online collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, AnyDesk, UltraViewer).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage technical and commercial discussions with senior executives.
• Must be willing to travel for project/technical closures.
• Own vehicle and fluency in English + local language preferred.
• Strong “bid-to-win” mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
