Role Overview: As an ideal candidate for this role, you should be well-versed with costing principles, cost audit requirements, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Your hands-on experience in business partnering should enable you to provide valuable costing insights. Additionally, having an understanding of 2D AutoCAD drawings will be beneficial as you estimate the cost of parts to be manufactured. Your ability to follow up with customers for offered quotes and effectively interact between management, customers, and the New Product Development Team is crucial. Previous experience of 1-2 years in Injection Molding, CT & PT, Quality, or Production will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of conductive metals is also required to identify costs and overall budget, ensuring that projects stay on track. Your role will involve reviewing and assessing project timelines, anticipating potential risks, and developing preventative solutions. Lastly, you should be able to create estimation reports for the managers.
