Designation: General Manager Contracts Role Objective The General Manager Contracts is responsible for leading the Contracts function across all projects, including Residential and Commercial sites. This role ensures effective contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and compliance while driving cost efficiency and strategic vendor management. The position also mentors and oversees Senior Contract Managers, ensuring alignment with project and business goals. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 1. Strategic Contract Oversight Lead and guide the overall contracts strategy across all ongoing and upcoming projects. Ensure alignment of contract practices with organizational objectives, legal frameworks, and financial controls. Supervise the performance and development of two Senior Contract Managers and their respective teams. 2. Contractor Selection & Tendering Approve and guide the tendering process, including bid evaluations, pre-bid meetings, and final negotiations. Ensure fair and competitive contractor selection based on performance, capability, and cost-effectiveness. 3. Contract Execution & Administration Review and approve contract drafts, addendums, and change orders. Ensure all contracts comply with legal, statutory, and internal standards. Maintain visibility over all project contracts, tracking key milestones and obligations. 4. Risk Mitigation & Dispute Management Proactively identify contractual risks and implement mitigation plans. Act as the escalation point for any contractual disputes and facilitate effective resolutions. Ensure insurance, indemnities, and bonding requirements are consistently met. 5. Cost Control & Financial Governance Collaborate with the Finance and Project teams to track cost impacts and ensure budget alignment. Drive cost savings through re-negotiations and value engineering opportunities. Support forecasting, vendor payments, and contractual claims review. 6. Performance Monitoring Establish a contractor assessment framework to monitor quality, time, and compliance. Approve performance reports and issue corrective guidance where necessary. 7. Process Improvement & Team Development Continuously enhance contract management processes and adopt industry best practices. Lead the learning and development initiatives for the Contracts team. Standardize templates, processes, and compliance protocols across projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineer focused on cost out project execution on existing products through teardown, idea generation (Redesign, material change, modularization, standardization etc..) and implementation. Perform VAVE study and identify cost out opportunities which are quality neutral. Perform cost benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for given project. Execute cost out opportunity mining exercises within Mechanical domain by spend - pareto analysis, should cost, competitor benchmarking, tear down etc. Smoothly interfaces to sourcing, operations, quality, service and global R&D team, as well as external suppliers, vendors and customers. Works as technical expert in mechanical engineering domain, responsible for technical solutions and engineering specifications. Leads standardizations of mechanical design process, optimizes and popularizes design best practice. Leads project planning/execution in system architecture strategy, engineering proposal as well as mechanical design, development, qualification, validation to ensure system level functionality, performance, safety, and quality in line with the company product development process Ensures that assigned projects are delivered on-time, to specification, and at or below target cost by solid engineering plans, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment. Reports on project progress. Approaches problems in a rational manner and with best in class tools to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution. Helps team to grow technical depth and knowledge sharing across product lines. Work with Regulatory Affairs team members to acquire the required product approvals such as, U.L., FDA, C.S.A. and European product certifications. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Demonstrated expertise to apply DFx (manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, safety, cost) knowledge to mechanical designs, expert knowledge in more than two of these specific areas: sheet metal, machining, plastic and die casting. Good understanding of the related materials, processes and local supplier capability. Deep knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experienced with tolerance analysis. Hands on in using 3D CAD software tools to perform mechanical design, modeling, and detailing Demonstrated ability to drive solid engineering solution to complex problems using best in class tools, with deep understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Design of Experiment (DOE) and FMEA. Knowledge of design with electro-mechanical parts Strong knowledge of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system Must have good communication skills to work globally and across functions Evident enthusiasm, adaptability, initiative, creativity, ownership and problem-solving skills
