Description
Role & responsibilities : Study of the obsolete/slow moving/limited usage parts, understanding the technical specification, Identifying alternate equivalent parts ensuring their form, fit & function fulfils the design intent without adverse effect. Feasibility study and evaluating existing design of components or subsystems, against technical specifications & functional requirements. Parts cost analysis covering, evaluation of materials cost, labor, engineering efforts/cost etc., to optimize the design choices, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring cost competitiveness. Supporting PDE Activities like creating workflows with the missing technical information and helping team to update the design changes/technical specifications/cost information, part categories like packaged/engine parts etc. Aero Services CMU Configurator Tool - Handbook process development, define configurations, develop the cost data and maintain cost data base, process, plan, and frequently updates for the service Cost catalogue. Work with cross functional teams (system engineering, Field engineers, sourcing), on gathering, & discussing the inputs needed to execute. Support the system BOM upgrades & parameter configurations for the CM&U upgrade systems. Develop and maintain cost database Handbook (spreadsheet with VBA tool) and deliverables for Services team Preferred candidate profile ADGT Product experience AutoCAD, NX, PLM, Aero Engines Tech Pub, ERP-ECHO Oracle, Zeal, Powermax, Excel VBA, Tableau. - Tools Knowledge Interested Candidates can send the updated profile to fakkrudeen.aliahamed@quest-global.com
