Cost Accountant

We are looking for a Finance & Accounts professional with experience in Cost & Management Accounting, preferably In heavy machinery or manufacturing Industries, with Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards, inventory valuation, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor material, labor cost, and overhead costs for compressor and blower production .
• Prepare detailed cost sheets for each product line and project.
• Identify variances between standard and actual costs, Investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions .
• Assist In preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts .
• Provide cost estimates for new product development and special projects .
• Support management In strategic pricing and tender submissions .
• Track raw material, WIP, and finished goods lnvenloryvaluatlon .
• Ensure accurate recording of production costs and reconcile with ERP/MRP systems .
• Conduct periodic stock audits and report discrepancies .
• Generate monthly cost reports and profitability analysis by product, department, or project.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Internal policies .
• Support external and Internal audits with cost-related documentation .
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to Identify cost-saving opportunities .
• Implement activity-based costing (ABC) or other advanced costing methodologies .
• Recommend efficiency Improvements In manufacturing and supply chain processes .
