Cost Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct cost audits, product costing, and costing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  
• Prepare monthly MIS reports on costs, including overheads, variances analysis, and profitability statements.
  
• Analyze production costs by plant and department to identify areas for improvement.
  
• Develop and maintain standardized costing procedures across all plants.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction initiatives.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in Cost Accounting or related field (ICWA preferred).
  
• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., IFRS).
  
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems; ability to analyze large datasets.
  
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; strong communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
