Cosmetic Formulation Chemist

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and innovative Cosmetic Chemist to join our R&D team at Daksha Organics. You will be responsible for developing and testing skin care formulations such as sunscreen, aloe vera gel, and other herbal-based topical products. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and test skincare products in compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines. Develop stable, effective, and market-ready prototypes. Conduct ingredient compatibility tests and monitor pH, viscosity, and stability. Maintain detailed documentation of trials, revisions, and final formulas. Coordinate with the microbiologist and lab assistant for testing and sampling. Stay updated on cosmetic trends and innovative actives (especially herbal and Ayurvedic ingredients). Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related fields. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on formulation experience in cosmetics or personal care. Experience in formulating herbal/natural products is a strong advantage. Sound knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and lab procedures. Strong analytical and documentation skills.
