Cosmetic Formulation Chemist

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Cosmetic Chemist to join our R&D team at Daksha Organics. You will be responsible for developing and testing skin care formulations such as sunscreen, aloe vera gel, and other herbal-based topical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and test skincare products in compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Develop stable, effective, and market-ready prototypes.
• Conduct ingredient compatibility tests and monitor pH, viscosity, and stability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of trials, revisions, and final formulas.
• Coordinate with the microbiologist and lab assistant for testing and sampling.
• Stay updated on cosmetic trends and innovative actives (especially herbal and Ayurvedic ingredients).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on formulation experience in cosmetics or personal care.
• Experience in formulating herbal/natural products is a strong advantage.
• Sound knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and lab procedures.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
