About the Role

Corporate legal associate

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
• SaaS & IT Services Agreements

• Advise on cross-border legal and compliance matters, including data protection, FEMA, and RBI guidelines

• Collaboration & Staffing Agreements
• NDAs and Marketing Contracts
• Advise on cross-border legal and regulatory matters, including:
• Data Protection and Privacy Laws
• FEMA Guidelines
• RBI and other sectoral regulations
• Provide legal guidance in contract disputes, dispute resolution, and potential litigation (preferred)

• Exposure to international contracting is must, especially within APAC and EU frameworks

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) is required; Master&aposs or professional certifications (e.g., Bar Admission) are preferred

Experience:

• 4-6 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or technology sectors is a plus
• Prior in-house legal counsel or top-tier law firm experience preferred
• Exposure to international (APAC/EU) contracting is desirable

Skills:

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in legal risk assessment and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of data protection, corporate governance, and financial regulation
• Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
