Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Adhere to clients corporate tax compliance timelines (assessments, filing of returns, etc.).
Prepare submissions for clients for scrutiny assessments, rectification/stay applications, appeals to be filed with Commissioner of Income-tax and ITAT.
Represent clients before tax/appellate authorities and follow up on rectification, stay applications, and refund orders.
Provide advice to clients on corporate tax laws and regulatory matters.
Prepare memos and presentations for advisory assignments on corporate tax and regulatory matters.
Coordinate with audit teams and review tax provisioning and tax audit finalization for audit clients.
Lead and manage corporate tax engagements for clients.
Conduct technical research on latest case laws and circulars; prepare summaries and impact analysis on landmark cases for clients.
Coach and develop junior members on corporate tax concepts.
Attend external trainings and stay updated with latest developments.
Deliver presentations on current topics in internal trainings.
Prepare letters of engagement, ensure timely preparation of time spent, invoicing, and collection.
Ensure periodical review of filings/documents from an internal review perspective.
Contribute to newspaper articles, knowledge management presentations, etc., in relevant subjects.
Build good rapport and maintain working relationships with key client contacts.
Actively participate in the Firm's CSR activities.
