Core Oracle DBA

NTT DATA is looking for a Core Oracle DBA - Systems Integration Advisor to join their team in BENGALURU, Karnataka, India. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for managing Oracle databases across various lifecycle environments, from development to production. This includes configuring and maintaining database servers and processes to ensure high performance, availability, and security. You will also be involved in database performance tuning, planning, deploying, and troubleshooting high-availability database environments like RAC and Dataguard. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing and resolving issues in real-time, automating processes for efficiency, providing 24x7 support for critical systems, performing maintenance activities, and collaborating with end customers, business stakeholders, and technical resources. Additionally, you will share your expertise with team members, provide mentorship, and contribute to technical discussions. To qualify for this position, you should have over 10 years of experience in Oracle 12.x/Above versions in database administration within an enterprise environment. Experience with Oracle Exadata systems, performance tuning, backups, restores, incident management, and HA/DR options for Oracle is essential. You should also be proficient in working with Linux, Windows, and Unix servers, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Having experience with scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata, OEM, complex query tuning, and relevant certifications like OCA, OCP, OCM would be advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
