NTT DATA is looking for a Core Oracle DBA - Systems Integration Advisor to join their team in BENGALURU, Karntaka (IN-KA), India. As a Core Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for managing Oracle databases across various product lifecycle environments, from development to production systems. Your duties will include configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, monitoring system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security, and performing database performance tuning. You will also be involved in planning, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-availability database environments such as RAC and Dataguard. Additionally, you will independently analyze and resolve issues in real-time, automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes for efficiency and cost optimization. Providing 24x7 support for critical production systems, performing scheduled maintenance, and supporting release deployment activities are also part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in Oracle 12.x/Above versions in database administration in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers. Experience with Oracle Exadata systems, performance tuning and optimization, backups, restores, recovery models, incident and problem queue management, and high availability and disaster recovery options for Oracle is required. You should also have experience working with Linux, Windows, and Unix servers, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata, OEM, logical DBA activities, complex query tuning, schema refinement, and OCA, OCP, and/or OCM certifications.
