Role Description

This is a remote, contract position for a Core Java Tutor who will mentor and guide students virtually via Zoom. The tutor will develop lesson plans, provide one-on-one or group sessions, clarify Java-related concepts, assist with coding assignments, and help students build practical expertise. The role also involves providing feedback and fostering an engaging, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including object-oriented programming and data structures
• Practical experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
• Excellent communication and teaching skills, with experience in mentoring or tutoring
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Zoom
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred
• Familiarity with additional programming languages or topics is a plus
