Job Description

Servient is seeking Core Java Developers with strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms to join our development team. We are looking for candidates who prioritize modular, minimalist, and reusable design practices. Experience working for a product company is a plus.

What We Offer:

You will be involved in designing and developing elegant and minimalist solutions for complex business problems. This work will involve using various data-parsing libraries, the Solr search engine, and advanced machine learning techniques, all built on AWS cloud systems.

Required Experience:

3+ years of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) development, with experience in Java (or C#).

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in Unix/Linux CLI environments.
Experience with data and/or file manipulation, I/O, metadata handling, and addressing Big Data challenges.
Experience with developing and scaling microservices.
Experience with queuing technologies, such as Kafka.
Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to REST APIs, AWS, SOLR, Postgres.

Academic Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent. A Masters degree is highly preferred.
