Overview Qualifications/Skills : A bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with social media and content marketing Experience with SEO copywriting best practices. Familiarity with keyword research. Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills Strong research skills Creativity and Collaborative spirit Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent time-management and organizational skills Job Responsibilities: Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts. Research and understand a client s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings Write high-engagement social media content that reflects our brand s voice. Write clear and attractive marketing copy with a distinct voice to promote our products/services Prepare well-structured drafts for scripts Proofread and edit blog posts before publication. Submit work to editors for input and approval Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone) Update website content as needed Source images and other content. Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative team, from concept development to delivery of final product. Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to clients. Working on multiple projects at a time while maintaining quality and sticking to deadlines.
