Cook/Chef

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cook Master to join our school cafeteria team. As the Cook Master, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, delicious meals to students and staff. You will oversee meal preparation, ensure food quality, and lead a small team of kitchen staff, all while maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment. Your expertise will contribute to a positive dining experience for our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals for students, ensuring adherence to nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste.
• Collaborate with school administrators to create weekly meal plans and menus.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure they are in working order.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef, with expertise in large-scale meal preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience in managing kitchen staff and overseeing daily operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
