Job Description

Job Title: Cook (Hostel) Location: Address: Tehsil, NH1, Village Aluna, Rajpura, Punjab 140402 Salary: ₹15,000 per month (Fixed) Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cook to manage daily meal preparation for hostel residents. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare healthy, hygienic, and tasty meals on time for all three meal slots — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve three meals a day: Breakfast: Ready by 8:00 AM Lunch: Ready by 1:00 PM Dinner: Ready by 8:00 PM Plan and prepare simple, nutritious, and balanced meals for hostel residents. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining area. Manage and store food items properly to minimize wastage. Ensure timely cooking and serving of meals. Coordinate with hostel management for grocery and supply requirements. Follow safety and hygiene standards at all times. Requirements: Prior experience as a cook in hostel, mess, canteen, or similar setup preferred. Ability to cook Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes (if required). Basic understanding of nutrition and hygiene practices. Punctual, responsible, and disciplined attitude towards work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
