Cook/Chef – Sandwich Junction Kharghar Location: Kharghar, Navi Mumbai About Sandwich Junction: Sandwich Junction is a fast-growing QSR brand known for its fresh sandwiches, quick bites, and quality service. We're building a strong kitchen team to deliver delicious, consistent food with speed and precision. Your Role at Sandwich Junction: As a Cook/Chef, you’ll be the foundation of the kitchen team — helping with basic preparation work, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with senior chefs and contribute to delivering great food every day. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing ingredients like chopping vegetables, slicing meats, prepping sauces, etc. Assemble sandwiches and quick bites under supervision, ensuring quality and consistency. Support daily mise en place (kitchen prep) before service hours begin. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and storage areas. Follow food safety and handling guidelines strictly. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for raw materials. Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries. Inform the Store Manager or Supervisor if stocks are running low. Help in maintaining kitchen equipment by cleaning and storing them properly after use. Follow all brand SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for food preparation and kitchen management. Participate in kitchen opening, mid-shift, and closing duties daily. Support senior chefs and be ready to assist during peak rushes. Requirements: Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety standards. Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail. Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Basic communication skills (Hindi or English).
