Role & responsibilities

Key Role : Conveyor and Control Engineer

• Conveyor system deployment and existing conveyor system modification
• Electrical & Control system deployment and exiting system modification
• Project Management and line capacity improvement
• Work area safety in-charge

Preferred candidate profile

Responsibilities/Task/Duties:

• Floor conveyor, Overhead conveyer, Car Body Handling System feasibility Study for new product and existing line improvement
• Develop specification, Technical Bid Package Preparation, Bids Evaluations, Scheduling, Project Execution, Buyoff to User, Billing & Contract Closure.
• Implementation of Control system for Body, Paint & GA Shop Conveyor
• PLC, HMI program modification for existing equipments.
• Identified automation solution to increase the productivity, quality & safety of the operation.
• Estimation and Costing for New Conveyer System New Product Program & modification in existing conveyor system.
• Conveyer Side MPS Preparation, Estimation planning & Project scheduling
• Project Management Capex Budget for CCR Function.
• Design Review with Contractor & Approving the Design as per MG Standards.
• Modification of existing Conveyer System, Hangers, Trolleys etc.
• Implementation of Conveyer Interlock with Line Side M&E Equipment's.
• Support to maintenance for Critical issues of Conveyer & Control System
• Implementation of safety process & standards as MGI requirements.
• Coordinate the within ME function common activities
• Work closely with shop Manufacturing Engineer

Experience, Skills & knowledge

• Hands on experience on Rockwell make PLC & HMI
• Basic knowledge of Paint and GA Processes
• Hands on experience on CAD, UG and MS project software
• Good experience in existing system conveyor modification and line JPH improvement
• Good experience in Rail & Hoist System design & load calculation.
• Good skill in Conveyer System specification design & type of components selection.
• Hands on experience of Installation & commissioning
