Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Marine Diesel Engines and Generators - Installation / Commissioning, Major Overhauling and Service Maintenance:

Diagnosis and analysis of controls system defect.
Connecting diagnosis tools to engines and recording of data
Downloading the recoded data and analyzing the data using diagnosis tools
Submission of analysis report to management with recommended scope of defect rectification
Carryout the defect rectification based on diagnosis.
Trouble shooting & periodic maintenance of Engine controls system and sensors.
Commissioning of new engines and or engines post major overhauling using the Commissioning Laptop Tool
Tracing of controls system lines for fault diagnosis
Fault analysis and repairs of PCB, relays and PLC systems
Reading of error codes and rectification of defects
Assisting the mechanical team members for all the service jobs

Communicate effectively to Management, Clients & Vendors through mail, phone or in-person

Preferred candidate profile

MAN High Speed Marine Engines
Cummins marine or genset engines
Caterpillar / Scania / MTU / Volvopenta engines
