Controller

As a Controller at our manufacturing company in Noida, Sector 4, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the finance department. Your responsibilities will include statutory compliance, financial accounting, management reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all GST-related activities, including accurate and timely filing of returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.) and management of the E-Way Bill process. - Act as the primary point of contact for external Chartered Accountants, managing audits, finalizations, and advisory matters. - Take complete ownership of the General Ledger's accuracy and integrity, primarily managed in Tally. - Supervise the Accounts Receivable process to ensure timely invoicing and collection. - Oversee export documentation and bank clearance procedures, coordinating with third-party consultants for smooth operations. - Prepare detailed breakeven reports, provide actionable insights to business units, and deliver accurate monthly P&L statements and financial reports. - Develop and maintain rolling Cash Flow Projections to support strategic planning and liquidity management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. CA Inter or CA qualification is highly preferred. - 5 years of proven experience in a senior accounting role. - Expert-level proficiency in Tally and MS Excel. - In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax. - Experience in preparing management reports and export documentation is advantageous. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. - Strong leadership abilities to manage and mentor a team of junior accountants. - Collaborative approach to work effectively across departments. - Analytical mindset to identify financial issues and opportunities proactively.
