Communication Protocols: Direct working experience testing systems using CAN bus and/or Modbus (RTU/TCP)

Hardware Debugging: Hands-on ability to use Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers to debug timing and electrical signaling issues at the board level.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of industrial control logic (like PID/closed-loop control), or safety-critical control systems.

Analysis: JTAG/SWD Debuggers (e.g., SEGGER J-Link), Oscilloscope, and Logic Analyzer

Debugging/IDE: CCS (Code Composer Studio) for development and debugging
