Control Designer

Skills Requirement- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of control logics, SCADA, and relevant software tools. Programming Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming languages like CSF/FBD, Visual Basic, C,C++. Software Knowledge: Familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems, SCADA systems, and other relevant software. Communication Protocols : Strong understanding of communication protocols like TCP/IP,MODBUS, IEC 61850 etc.. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the power/process industry where the control system is being used. Cyber Security- Strong understanding about relevant standards of cyber security related power house control system and solutions avaialbolbe for cyber security. Knowledge of Plant Network- Configuration of two/three layer ethernet switches, configuration of firewalls/routers Commissioning- Experience of independent commissioning. JOB RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS Designing and Developing Control Systems: Working from initial concepts, develop control systems that meet specific project requirements, automation and process optimization. Software Development : Implementing software for control systems, development of SCADA system. Design Plant Station BUS & Network Designing of Plan Bus based on IEC 60870-5-104/IEC 61850 and associated network component. Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing and executing testing protocols, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. System Maintenance and Optimization: Maintaining existing control systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Communication with different third party component: Desing, Configuration, Development and implement of third party communication on IEC 60870/IEC 61850/MODBUS etc.. Documentation: Preparing and releasing technical documentation for control systems, including HMI specifications, logic flow diagrams, and alarm/trip matrices. Problem-Solving and Analysis: Analyzing system behavior, identifying potential issues, and developing solutions to ensure optimal performance. Commissioning Commissioning of control system at site QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: BE(Electrical/Electronics) Experience: 5-8 years Languages: English, Hindi Product Know-How : Conversant with different Control system available in the market Readiness to travel to sites .
