Contract Manager - Legal

As a Legal Professional in the Corporate Law team at Celonis, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing supplier contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will collaborate with various departments to address contract-related issues and provide legal advice. Additionally, conducting due diligence on prospective and existing suppliers to assess legal risks and compliance will be a key part of your role. You will also research, develop, and update contract templates and standard terms supporting all supplier categories. Supporting the ongoing development, refinement, and implementation of operating procedures will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts in areas such as SaaS, Professional Services, Real Estate and Facilities, HR and Benefits, and Marketing and Events. - Collaborate with procurement, risk management, data privacy, security, and other departments to address contract-related issues. - Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective and existing suppliers to assess legal risks and compliance. - Research, develop, and update contract templates and standard terms across all supplier categories. - Support the ongoing development, refinement, and implementation of operating procedures. Qualifications Required: - Law degree with 3-7 years in procurement or commercial legal matters. - A license to practice law is a plus and will be considered in place of the experience requirements. - Proficient in written and spoken English.
