Contract Engineer - Offshore Oil&Gas

As a Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for offshore oil & gas projects. Your role will involve contract formulation, negotiation, risk assessment, and post-award contract management within the EPC / Offshore industry. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and negotiate contractual documents, terms & conditions, and commercial agreements for offshore oil & gas projects. - Support tendering and bid evaluation processes by identifying contractual risks and commercial implications. - Administer pre-award and post-award contract activities, including contract execution, amendments, claims, and closeouts. - Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and international contracting standards (FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, etc.). - Liaise with project management, legal, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth contract administration. - Monitor contractor performance and support in claims management, variation orders, and dispute resolution. - Maintain up-to-date contract status reports and documentation. - Provide contractual advice during project execution and commercial negotiations. Qualification Required: - In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and EPC contracting procedures. - Experience in offshore / subsea / oil & gas contracting (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning phases). - Strong analytical and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and contract management tools. - Excellent communication and report writing abilities. Education Qualification: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration. - Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management / Project Management will be an added advantage.,
