Continental Helper (MALE)

A Continental Helper assists chefs in preparing Continental cuisine by performing tasks like chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and cleaning kitchen equipment. This role involves basic food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations. Key responsibilities

• Food preparation: Wash, peel, cut, and slice ingredients for various Continental dishes.
• Kitchen maintenance: Clean and organize the kitchen, wash dishes and utensils, and ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Safety and sanitation: Follow and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
• Assisting chefs: Support senior chefs with cooking tasks, plating, and other duties as needed.
• Stocking: Assist with managing inventory and restocking supplies when necessary.

Qualifications and skills

• Some kitchen experience is often preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for food and a willingness to learn are beneficial.
