Continental Commis I (MALE)

A Commis 1 (Continental) plays an essential role in the kitchen in preparing a variety of dishes from continental cuisine. They are responsible for handling basic food prep tasks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and learning specific cooking techniques. They contribute to menu development by preparing sauces, garnishes, and contributing ideas for new dishes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Cook continental dishes according to recipes.
• Daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Support in menu development and planning.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
