Content Writer

We are looking for a skilled Content Writer with a passion for short-format storytelling in promotional and digital media. The ideal candidate excels in concise, creative writing tailored for video reels, promos, and social campaigns. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams at our Chennai office, delivering impactful narratives within tight deadlines and maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, short-form scripts and promotional stories for digital media.
• Write snappy, effective content for video reels, promos, and marketing campaigns across channels (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
• Collaborate in-person with creative, marketing, and strategy teams for brainstorming, planning, and execution of content ideas.
• Adapt tone, structure, and messaging to connect with target audiences.
• Stay updated on latest digital content trends and bring innovative storytelling ideas.
• Ensure all content meets high standards for quality, clarity, and brand consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in content writing or scriptwriting for digital or promotional media.
• Portfolio required: Writing samples demonstrating narrative writing and storytelling ability.
• Strong command of English: Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, in-person team environment.
• High attention to detail in content quality, accuracy, and originality.
• Solid content strategy, planning, and execution skills.
• Quick research skills and adaptability in restructuring content as needed.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience creating scripts/content for video platforms such as YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.
• Fluency in Tamil or experience with regional language content.
• Familiarity with the entertainment, media, or promotions industry.
