JD :

• Ability to write content in English & Hindi.
• Ability to translate content from English to Hindi and vice versa.
• Ability to create effective content in English and Hindi for Websites as well as for Social Media.
• Conduct research on trends, competitors, keywords, and audience preferences.
• Proof reading of content of Software and Websites developed and hosted.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Ability to write independently very brief text (such as photo captions, headlines, pointers etc.) on diverse issues such as tourism, education, infrastructure, and other areas of governance.
• Scanning newspapers to identify headlines and news that are relevant to government department websites being handled in-house, and making appropriate additions/ updations to the same.
• Use SEO principles to optimize content (basic understanding sufficient).
• Ensure tone consistency, brand voice and clarity across languages.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines consistently.

Skills:

• Excellent writing skills in English & Hindi (Grammar, Tone, Fluency).
• Strong storytelling and copywriting ability-both creative and informational.
• Proven experience in long-form+ short-form content (Blogs, Ads, Social, etc.)
• Cultural sensitivity and language adaptability (Formal vs informal tone, Regional variations)
• Good SEO writing knowledge.
• Good knowledge of Social Media algorithms & trends.

Experience:

• 2-4 Years of proven working experience in content writing for websites & software.

Qualification:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Literature, Journalism.
• Strong portfolio with links or samples in both English & Hindi.
