Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Write high-quality blogs, website copy, social media content, and SEO articles for clients across industries, especially in B2B and SaaS.
  • Create clear, accurate, and engaging content that aligns with each client's tone and goals.
  • Communicate directly with clients through WhatsApp, Slack, or email. You will be added to client groups and are expected to handle communication professionally and independently.
  • Manage Writely's social media accounts by planning, creating, and posting content that reflects the brand's voice, tone, and positioning.
  • Track engagement and maintain consistency across all Writely social media platforms.
  • Manage your own tasks, timelines, and deliverables without requiring follow-up or supervision.
  • Conduct detailed research on new topics and industries.
  • Collaborate with the design and editing teams to ensure content quality and consistency.
  • Take ownership of client feedback, revisions, and deadlines with complete accountability.
  • Ensure that all work meets Writely's professional and creative standards before submission.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of copywriting and content writing for social media, blogs, websites, and SEO.
  • Prior experience in B2B content writing is mandatory.
  • Strong creative writing ability and attention to tone, clarity, and structure.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to write on unfamiliar topics with accuracy and confidence.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High standards of professional ethics, accountability, and communication.
  • Ability to create and manage content calendars for brand social media.

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of SEO concepts such as keyword research, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
  • Experience handling brand social media management or working with marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Docs, Notion, and ClickUp.
  • Ability to write across formats and industries while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
