Content Writer - English

As an Academic Content Writer (English) for our company, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality educational content for school-level textbooks and supplementary learning materials. Your main responsibilities will include: - Writing, developing, and reviewing English-language academic content for textbooks, workbooks, grammar books, and supplementary readers. - Aligning content with prescribed school curricula and learning outcomes (State Board/CBSE/ICSE, as applicable). - Creating age-appropriate lessons, exercises, assessments, and answer keys. - Editing and proofreading content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency. - Working closely with editors, designers, and subject experts to ensure quality and timely delivery. - Incorporating feedback and revising content as required. - Ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines and academic standards. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field. - Excellent command of the English language, grammar, and writing style. - Prior experience in academic content writing, teaching, or educational publishing preferred. - Strong understanding of school-level pedagogy and curriculum frameworks. - Proficiency in MS Word and basic digital tools. - Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. In addition to the above requirements, having at least 3 years of relevant experience in academic writing, teaching, or publishing is preferred. However, freshers with strong subject knowledge and writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
