As a Technical Writer at EY, you will be part of the fast-growing team at EY GDS Content Center of Excellence. Your role will involve preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining various technical documents with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include creating and reviewing user/administrator guides, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business problems, and defining instructional design approaches. You will also be responsible for organizing information through diagrams, evaluating content deliverables, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Create and review various technical documents such as user/administrator guides, installation guides, and developer documentation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business problems and communication/training requirements - Identify information gaps, conduct audience analysis, and define instructional design approaches - Write clear and concise technical documents and present information through diagrams and process flow maps - Evaluate content management structures and provide recommendations on best practices - Schedule writing deliverables, review content quality, and serve as a liaison between product and content teams - Lead documentation initiatives and drive guidelines for technical writing function - Create content for state-of-the-art applications for diverse user groups - Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and technical publications style Qualifications Required: - At least 8-9 years of related experience - Bachelors or masters degree, preferably in English literature or mass communication - Working knowledge of tools such as Visio, Snagit, and RoboHelp - Aptitude and willingness to continually expand core skillset - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat/PDF-XChange - Knowledge of Project Management tools and methods Additional Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and global delivery network that offers fulfilling career opportunities across various disciplines.
