As a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Support Engineer at EY, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and supporting solutions within the Guidewire Policy Centre module. Your responsibilities will include working on maintenance and support activities, resolving production issues, and ensuring that policy administration systems are efficient and aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to achieve these goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Guidewire PolicyCenter Support and Maintenance (Staff 3-6 years) - Designing, building, supporting, and implementing defect fixes - Performing Root Cause Analysis and providing solutions - Implementing enhancements and code changes - Working in shifts (Rotational Shifts - India Shift, US Shift) and On Call Support on a rotational basis - Proactively monitoring systems - Managing Guidewire PC Configuration & Integration - Designing, modifying, and implementing Guidewire product suite **Skills and Attributes Required:** - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Policy Centre, implementation, architecture, and components - Certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0 version or higher - Proficiency in development streams such as Configuration, Integration, or Both - Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, web services, and API integration - Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in related issues, and batch file generations - Familiarity with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins - Knowledge of service management, change management activities, SLAs, and estimator tools - Exposure to working in shifts and providing on-call support - Experience in incident management, problem management, SDLC life cycle, and release planning - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong skills in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System - Proficiency in Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic In addition to the technical responsibilities, working at EY offers a dynamic and global environment where continuous learning, transformative leadership, and diverse and inclusive culture are fostered.
