As a Quality Assurance Engineer Specialist at EY, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality and efficiency of software development processes. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: - Participating in the implementation and maintenance of test automation strategies, test design, and coding reviews to ensure quality - Translating functional requirements and technical specifications into test scripts for new development projects - Conducting quality assurance testing to ensure all information system products meet company standards and end-user requirements - Analyzing test data input and output to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements - Collaborating across IT teams to execute manual End-to-End test cases and exploratory tests - Conducting usability tests to assess user experience and application performance - Performing regression and stress testing to verify application stability and responsiveness under various load conditions - Preparing comprehensive test reports documenting outcomes, bugs, usability concerns, and recommendations - Providing feedback during design reviews to identify quality risks early in the development cycle To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills - Stay updated about new technologies in the market - Ability to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders To qualify for this position, you must have: - Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in automation and manual testing - Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a Master's degree/Diploma in Computer Science - Proficiency in Agile, Confluence, JIRA, monitoring, refining dashboards, and continuous process improvement - Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) - Proficiency in using bug tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD integration Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Highly flexible, adaptable, and creative - Comfortable interacting with senior executives within the firm and at the client EY offers a competitive remuneration package that rewards individual and team performance.
