Description
As a CS/CBS Associate at EY, your role will involve evaluating business models, processes, and operations to develop a good understanding of business needs and requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and providing insights on system and technical components to incorporate into the technical design. Your interactions with business stakeholders will be crucial in gathering, understanding, documenting, and analyzing business requirements to ensure that solutions and technologies being implemented meet business requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review materials and support meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to understand and gather business/functional requirements. - Build relationships and collaborate with the wider team to understand and translate business requirements into complex technical requirements. - Produce technical specifications to guide system architectural design and development, ensuring completeness of requirements. - Monitor and report on potential risks/opportunities of emerging technologies and make recommendations for system and technical components based on business requirements. - Contribute to the design and review of test cases, coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to resolve system issues, and provide insights on whether solutions meet business requirements. - Assist in business case development, complete RFP responses, and explore new and existing data to tackle defined business problems. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience in gathering and interpreting business requirements. - Experience in developing technical requirements and specifications, including knowledge of software engineering methodologies, reporting tools, modeling, and testing. - Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Modeling and Notation. - Knowledge of application building using Python would be an added advantage. In addition to the technical skills and knowledge required, you should have sound relevant experience in either an internal or external business analysis role or software/technical analysis role. Your educational background may include degrees in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, IT, Statistics, or Mathematics. Certifications such as Oracle Functional Consultant, Oracle GRC Consultant, or Business Analyst - Oracle ERP would be beneficial for this role.
