About the role

Amuse Labs aims to increase its market share in online publishing and enter exciting new markets like employee engagement and gamified advertising. Were looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to scale the product through marketing.

You will play a crucial role in crafting and executing a marketing strategy to attract, engage, and convert our target audience. You will collaborate closely with the business team to help create compelling and informative content that drives new inbound interest and sustained engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create marketing collateral to showcase our platforms value and features
• Execute marketing campaigns across different channels and regions to drive results
• Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content for blogs, social media, and other channels.
• Manage the social media content calendar to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Support event marketing initiatives with the right marketing collateral
• Track and analyze key metrics to refine marketing efforts based on data
• Engage communities of puzzle creators and enthusiasts who use our platform
• Stay updated on the product, industry trends, and competitors

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• Strong writing skills with excellent English proficiency and grammar
• Creative, detail-oriented, and organized, with a hands-on approach to work.
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficiency in marketing tools like WordPress, HubSpot, SEMrush, and Google Ads.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred:

• A personal interest in crosswords or puzzle-solving
• 1-2 years of experience in content marketing, ideally at a tech startup
• Proficiency in marketing tools like WordPress, HubSpot, SEMrush, and Google Ads.
• International exposure or knowledge of multiple languages

Amuse Labs was co-founded by Sudheendra Hangal, a Ph.D. from Stanford&aposs Computer Science Department; Jaya Hangal, a member of the team that developed Java at Sun Microsystems; and John Temple, a veteran journalist who has been Managing Editor of the Washington Post and President at First Look Media.

You will be mentored by senior managers and technologists and can expect to work on fast-paced and innovative projects with a world-class team. We are based out of a WeWork office in Bangalore.
