As a Content Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to understand the objectives of the content and its relevance to various audiences. You will need to grasp the nuances of writing for international markets and deliver localized content that resonates effectively. A key aspect of your role will involve collecting inputs from stakeholders and transforming them into clear, engaging copies with a distinct voice. You should also be adept at repurposing existing content to meet different requirements as needed. Your proficiency will be required in creating various types of content including static text, static graphics, dynamic graphics, interactive content, audio content, and video content. Additionally, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading copies, applying SEO principles to enhance website search performance, and providing guidance to designers on context and intent. Utilizing CMS tools to organize and deploy content pieces will be part of your routine tasks. You will also play a crucial role in writing and editing consistent content for diverse digital tactics like emails, landing pages, websites, microsites, social networks, mobile platforms, banners, paid search, and lead nurturing programs across earned, owned, paid, and social media channels. Furthermore, you will ensure the quality and uniformity of content deliverables by maintaining a consistent voice and tone throughout all digital channels and assets. Collaboration with the marketing department to develop content strategies and managing content calendars for social channels will be integral to your role. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in content development, familiarity with various content creation tools, and expertise in Content Management Systems and Content Performance Analytics. Any certification in content-related aspects would be advantageous, along with experience in representing data or intelligence in diverse content formats and exposure to marketing or content agencies. Ideally, you should hold a bachelor's degree and have three to five-plus years of experience in developing content for multiple channels.
