Job Description

We are looking for a fresher/intern content writer. You will be responsible for creating content aligned with our brand’s goals and strategy. Your duties will include working on automotive-related content as per the plan.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion to learn how to write well and already enjoys writing. You will learn how to shape audience opinion through the power of your words. You will mostly help car owners and car buyers with finding the right information and making it easier to discover with the help of SEO tactics. This role will require you to produce content quickly and efficiently with focus on plain and simple language that’s easy to understand even to an 8th grader.

As a chosen content writer, we expect you to submit your articles within tight deadlines, when the need for urgency arises. Being inquisitive about the automobile industry and keen to learn is helpful to perform well in this role.

Responsibilities

• Produce content as per the plan
• Write crisp stories/articles that with simple and easy-to-understand language
• Strictly follow content guidelines to maintain consistent brand voice
• Track competitors and find ways to one-up them with a unique spin on a story to make it worth the readers’ time

Requirements

• Familiarity with Google Docs
• Basic technical knowledge of content publishing (preferred)
• Basic image editing skills such as cropping, adding captions, working with balancing contrast & brightness
• Curious about SEO, social media and web traffic metrics
• Excellent English writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Fast learner
• Curious and willing to learn about the automotive sector
• Curious to learn more about human nature and psychology and how to work with/around it to best help the car owners and buyers
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback
• Graduation (preferred but not required)
• Relevant work experience (optional)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
